Is switching from a knockdown/afershock hammer warrior to an axe warrior a good switch? dont really like the hammer warrior due to how long it takes for the adren elite skills to charge even with berseker

Well axe has some pretty high adren reqs too mostly 6-9

Which is easily countered with Frenzy, Flurry, For Great Justice!, To the Limit!, Beserker, etc.

I'm personally an axe warrior and I love it. It beats the sword in damage and beats the hammer in adrenaline generation. Axes are like the air spikes of melee. The only downfall tho is that a lot of the condition causing moves require you to put Deep Wound to pull off the others.

I went from Hammerer to Swordsman to Axeman. Axe is my favorite. Elite skill "Cleave" rocks.

Well axe will outdamage hammer but it doesnt shutdown the target like hammer can so their are tradeoffs. axe attacks faster so the high adreniline cost is not as big a deal as it is with hammer. It also has evicerate which is one of the highest damaging skills with its combination of bonus damage +40 or so and deepwound (20% of the openents total health is removed for its durration). cyclone axe is also great for charging up attacks if you run into a group of enemies.

you can upgrade your hammer with furious halt i think. (correct me if im wrong). i still play my hammer warrior because the use of knocking down caster and my team appreaciate what i do.

Ya, if you want to go with the producing Adrenaline:
Furious Axe Haft - Double Adrenaline on hit (Chance: 2-10%)

I personally prefer Sundering or Vampiric for dmg:
Sundering - Armor penetration +10% (Chance: 5-10%)
Vampiric - Life stealing: 1-3 life per hit, Health regeneration: -1
